okay so i need your expertise to explain something for me por favor...so i watched the Death Note movie which i realized was a mistake cause the few episodes i've seen are so much better...but the first movie follows the storyline of the first 9 episodes...does the second movie cover the rest of the series or does it leave a lot of crap out? ive heard the outcome is similar but misses a lot of key points but are there any huge differences im missing from not watching the anime version?

The second movie is better then the first and it stays kinda accurate, leaving out only things that werent that important, and the anime version is FTW. So i say just watch the show first cuz its way better, but the movies are entertaining, and i think the person who played L did an amazing job. and i didnt know u liked deathnote, any other surprised u got for me?

i actually only started liking it when i saw the trailer before iron man and didnt know it started as anime cause its nothing like a lot of other anime. i agree the second was far better than the first but i think that the storyline is a really great portrayle of the whole series condensed into about 5 hours of live action. i've caught up with a lot of the episodes online and they are better but i cant enjoy them as much since i know the basic plot having seen the movie first. and yeah, L's actor was crazy awesome. as for other surprises....hmm, well this may come as a shock but i really dont like phil. :)
